Growing up as an active kid and playing multiple sports, exercise was not something that was unfamiliar to me. Commitment, dedication, determination and practice was taught to me to be the key components of becoming the best athlete I could be. I focused on that, letting it carry me through my career in sports and athletics, and went on to earn a double scholarship(track and field and football) at Baker University in 2010. Once my three years as a starter and success on the track concluded, i thought to myself, what is the next step? How can I share my love and passion for health and fitness effectively, and share the enjoyment of having a healthy and fit body with others? Being a Personal Trainer and a Coach is what I felt was meant for me to do. A way for me to help others become better.
My Philosophy is simple, the “Ki2Fitness” is developing the mindset that our health and wellness is our number one priority. Fitness isn't something you just do, it is something you make a part of you. Everyday you wake up, it's for a purpose. We proceed through our days with the mindset that we are moving one step closer to what our ultimate goal is. For the past 5 years, I have lived by this day in and day out. How can I make today better than yesterday? What can I do now that will effect me positively for time to come? How can I effectively build myself but also build those around me? Health and fitness has always been a part of my life, but when I decided to make it a part of other's, that's when I truly understand what it meant to be fit and healthy.
